1st Choice windscreens was formed in 1997 by Brendan and changed to 1st Choice Windscreens ltd when Mike joined in 2002. Brendan has over 35 years experience in the industry, having worked for the UK’s largest windscreen replacement company. He formed the company having become disillusioned with the arrogance & poor customer care offered in the industry by large national companies.

Now we’re not saying he’s been in the industry a while, but chances are he was fitting screens to MGB’s when they were new! So if you need a classic car windscreen replaced such as an MGB, Rover SD1, MK1 Jag, E-type or even a Cortina there’s a good chance he’s done one or two over the years!

Mike joined the business in 2002 after spending most of his working life in the industry working for the UK’s largest windscreen company, and has over 23 years experience in all areas of windscreen replacement, he was also the first independent automotive glazing technician in the UK to gain ATA accreditation. Both Brendan & Mike also have all the relevant NVQ qualifications, so you know your pride & joy’s in safe hands.

We regularly carry out work for franchised main dealers, over the years this has included: Ford, Kia, Chrysler, Peugeot, Skoda, Renault, Diahatsu, Citroen, Toyota, Vauxhall, Fiat, Saab, Mazda, MG, Proton, Lexus, Mini, Kia & VW to name but a few. We are also highly skilled in removing & refitting bonded glass, & do so on a daily basis for many Accident repairers. Being ata accredited we are also able to work in PAS125 accredited body shops (this is the highest work standard set by Thatcham research centre, which holds the technicians personally accountable for their work).
